Wrecking Ball World Tour is back in Europe this year and could not miss a date in Spain. Gijón will host Bruce Springsteen’s return to Spain on 26th June in the refurbished El Molinón Stadium. This is the only concert planned for 2013, and there is no possibility of further Spanish concerts being added.
Twenty years after the first concert in Gijón, and ten since the last, Springsteen returns to the stage of El Molinón. This time around Gijón has been chosen by the artist from New Jersey for his return to Spain, once again placing Asturias at the heart of international shows. To date, Wrecking Ball World Tour has played over 90 shows with the gigs in Madrid on 17th June and the 31st July in Helsinki breaking records for the longest ever Springsteen concerts.
Doubtlessly the latest Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band tour is deserving of the praise it has received; nobody holds back when talking about the “giant” (Rolling Stone), "amazing" (The Atlantic), "explosive" (New York Times). Thousands enjoyed the 2012 concerts by Bruce Springsteen and surely none would wish to miss this latest chance to catch him. If we talk about a great artist, Bruce Springsteen is number one, his figures alone outshine any established record and every one of his tours outdoes the last. Every concert is different and anyone who has had the experience knows that they can’t pass up the chance to see him once more. A memorable night awaits us. El Molinón will be packed with fans from across the nation who will come to enjoy the greatest rock show to date. 2013 will be kickass!
