Important information about access and security for The Rolling Stones concert
Wednesday, September 20, 2017
27th of September, Estadi Olímpic in Barcelona

This coming Wednesday 27th September the long and anxious wait of thousands The Rolling Stones fans will end as they head to the Estadi Olímpic de Barcelona for a one-off concert on the Spanish leg of the 'No Filter' tour. With the aim of combating touting and protecting the interests of fans, tickets for this concert will bear the name of the attendee. For that reason it is important to know the procedures and recommendations for concert entry.

The named attendee is the only person with the right to use of the seat. On entering there will be a NAME CHECK CONTROL, where the attendees named on the ticket will have to show either their ID card or passport to check the name coincides with the name registered on the ticket. In the case that the name does not match, access will be denied.

THE NAME CHECK CONTROL is set up with the technology to detect any irregularity or alteration to tickets to avoid manipulation or ticket fraud. Tickets purchased via online ticket re-sale sites (Viagogo, StubHub/Ticketbis, Tengoentradas, etc.) or, more generally, from any unofficial sales outlet, will not be considered valid and therefore entry will be denied. Furthermore, such tickets may well be fake or manipulated thus again making entry impossible.

All concert goers must enter the venue at the same time as the attendee named on their ticket. If this is not the case, entry will be denied as their name will not appear on the ticket. It should be remembered that if multiple tickets are bought together online by credit card, all will bear the same attendee’s name. As such it is necessary to bring all tickets in their printed form.

If the person named on the tickets is unable to attend the concert, the tickets cannot be transferred to anyone else and their companions will also lose the right to entry as warned during the purchasing process.

Under 16s will also have to show tickets bearing the name of their adult companion. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No unofficial assignation of guardianship will be accepted.

For safety reasons strict security measures will be in place at all access points. With that in mind, it is recommended to arrive in plenty of time. Entry with the following objects will be prohibited:
- Any kind of bag, suitecase, backpack or sack, up to a maximum size of 11.45cm x 15.25cm (4x6 inches).
