The Cranberries will be back on businedd this year, with a new album Something Else, released on. This time they will be joined by a string quartet to perform their greatest hits live. DARK Live PA set featuring Olé Koretsky and DJ Wool will be their guest artist.
The Cranberries were formed in Limerick City, Ireland, in 1989. The band members are vocalist Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler. Renowned for their trademark guitar sound and distinctive Celtic tinged lilting vocal style, The Cranberries raised to global stardom in the early 1990s with songs like ‘Zombie’ or ‘Dreams.’
The Cranberries have sold over 40 Million Albums worldwide and they have achieved four top 20 albums on the Billboard 200. Their debut album sold over 5 Million copies in the United States and was number 1 in several territories across the globe.
The global success of The Cranberries has seen the band perform in front of millions of fans worldwide. Their music has been honoured by the MTV, the Juno Awards and they were named as one of the Most Outstanding Irish Bands of All Time (alongside U2 or The Corrs). They were also chosen to play at a Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony.
