Au Revoir Simone is an electronic indie pop band from Brooklyn formed in late 2003. The group is composed of Erika Forster (vocals/keyboard), Annie Hart (vocals/keyboard) and Heather D'Angelo (vocals/drum machine/keyboard). They make dreamy electronic pop music using elemental materials: keyboards and voices braid together in a warm thrum of whirring machines and soft melodies.
Their 2005 debut album “Verses of Comfort, Assurance, and Salvation” was followed in early 2007 by “The Bird of Music” in which they reaffirmed their love for synthesizers, keyboards and drum machines. Electronic indie pop and sweet beats combined with vintage electro keyboard sounds. Au Revoir Simone's songs have appeared in television programs such as Grey’s Anatomy and even David Lynch has declared himself a fan of the band. In addition to their music, Annie, Heather and Herika are widely recognized for their inimitable sense of style and involvement in the fashion world. The band has appeared in features for mags such as Vogue. On May 2009 they released "Still Night, Still Light" with their own label “Our Secret Record Company”. This record captures the band at its most exposed, relying on keyboards, drum machines and effortless voices to create a folk record without folk instruments, one that hums with resilience and wonder.
After their successful concerts of past years in our country, where the girls sold out their shows, Au Revoir Simone come back to Spain to present their new album "Move In Spectrums", which will be released this Autumn. The first single, "Somebody Who", is already out. Welcome back Au Revoir Simone.
