Sonata Arctica will come back to Spain in 2014 with "Pariah's Child World Tour". We will see them on May 5th at Bikini in Barcelona and on the 6th at Arena in Madrid. In the year of their 15th anniversary as a band, Sonata Arctica are looking to consolidate with their imminent new album as one of the most important formations of the actual metal scene. They will be supported by Trick or Treat, a power metal band from Italy.
Tickets are already available through www.doctormusic.com and www.ticketmaster.es, also at Fnac, Carrefour, Viajes Carrefour and Halcón Viajes, by phone at 902 15 00 25 and through the usual sale outlets from Ticketmaster network. Ticket price is 25 Euros (booking fees not included).
Hard work, a good dose of both unmistakable trademarks and ever-renewing innovation are the keys to Sonata Arctica’s success. A total of album sales figures beyond the staggeringly high 600.000 copies mark for their previous albums, from the power metal classic ‘Ecliptica’ in 1999 and to their most progressive album, ‘The Days Of Grays’, released in 2009. 2012 meant their return with new music and a big step forward in their career. On November 2012 they presented ‘Stones Grow Her Name’, back on the road for a tour in Europe and North America and following in 2013 with shows in Scandinavia, UK, Russia, Japan and Latin America. In every line and every word, every guitar riff, keyboard solo and drum pattern there is something to discover, this is Sonata Arctica.
For 2014 we expect a new album, 'Pariah's Child', which was released on March 28th and which advance was the song 'The Wolves Die Young'. Henrik Klingenberg gives us more details: “It’s been a while since we last toured Europe, so I’m very happy that we can announce our first tour with our new album. Since the album will be out in March 2014, we don’t want to waste any time but will head out for a full European Tour. Our tour will start in Eindhoven, NL on April 10th, 2014. The whole band is really looking forward to play some new songs for you and introduce our new bass player, Pasi, for all our fans. He’s a monster live, you’ll see”.
