In September 2015 we will enjoy again one of the most outstanding jazz vocalists of our days. Diana Krall will present live her captivating hits as well as the new songs from her new album, Wallflower (Universal), in Madrid and Barcelona. The shows will take place on September 22nd at Barclaycard Center [The Box] and on the 26th at Auditori del Fòrum, inside the 47 Voll-Damm Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona.

Tickets are already on sale through doctormusic.com and ticketmaster.es, also at FNAC, Viajes Carrefour and Halcón Viajes or by telephone at 902 15 00 25 and other Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets for Barcelona show will be also on sale through theproject.es. Ticket prices are from 68 to 95 Euros in Madrid and from 44 and 110 Euros in Barcelona, according to location (booking fees not included).

Taking about Diana Krall means talking about one of the artists who has contributed to bring the best of jazz to the general audience, to avoid considering it a musical style just for minorities. Five-time GRAMMY and eight-time JUNO Award-winning jazz pianist and world-renowned singer Diana Krall released Wallflower in February, produced by 16-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer David Foster. Wallflower finds Krall breaking new ground with her interpretations of some of the greatest pop songs of all time. The album features popular classics from the late ‘60s to present day which have inspired Krall since her early years, as well as an unreleased composition from Paul McCartney “If I Take You Home Tonight”.

The Wallflower World Tour will feature Krall performing pop classics such as The Mamas and the Papas’ “California Dreamin’”, the Eagles’ “Desperado” and Bob Dylan’s “Wallflower”, among others. Besides, the song “Sorry seems to be the hardest word” highlights her great admiration of Elton John – whose album Blue Moves has accompanied her throughout her life. On her return to Spain, Krall will be accompanied onstage by Anthony Wilson (guitar), Dennis Crouch (bass), Stuart Duncan (fiddle), Karriem Riggins (drums) and Patrick Warren (Keyboards).
