Fast Animals and Slow Kids (FASK), a name inspired by a gag of Family Guy, was formed in 2008 by Aimone Romizi (singer, guitarist and percussionist), Alessio Mingoli (drums), Jacopo Gigliotti (bassist) and Alessandro Guercini (guitarist).

Thanks to the win of the Italy Wave Love Sound Contest and their first concerts, their name began to shoot and in 2011 they published their first album Cavalli, which consists of post-punk songs with despicable lyrics and incisive rhythms. After this first release, FASK continued working on new music until Hybris was born, an album which includes the song 'A cosa ci serve', voted song of the year for readers and editors of the Rockit website. In addition, the album was number one in the readers’ preferences of La Repubblica XL.

Fast Animals and Slow Kids have not stopped composing since then, resulting in the albums Alaska, Forse non è la felicità, which made FASK one of the most important names in Italian underground scene; Animali Notturni, released by Warner Music Italia; and È già domani, their most recent work, which reached number 5 in the official Italian ranking and number 2 in the vinyl ranking. This album release was followed by 'È GIÀ DOMANI TOUR', with sold out shows in cities such as Bologna, Florence, Rome and Milan.

In 2023 FASK landed for the first time in the most important Italian theatres accompanied on stage by an orchestra in a new experience that gave rise to the album FASK Dal vivo - con orchestra.
