¡VENUE CHANGE AND NEW TICKETS ON SALE NOW!
Wednesday, October 20th – Sant Jordi Club – Barcelona
In just one week Avenged Sevenfold have completely sold out the one and only concert that the band will offer this year in our country. Due to the successful ticket sales, the show changes to a bigger venue in order to give many more fans the opportunity to see their favourite band live. The concert scheduled for October 20 in Razzmatazz goes to Sant Jordi Club, expanding the capacity originally planned.
Tickets already purchased will still be valid for the new venue. New ones are also on sale at www.ticketmaster.es, by calling 902 15 00 25 and via the usual sales outlets of the Ticketmaster network. Ticket price is 27 Euros (booking fees not included). Remember that new venue has no age restrictions.
Avenged Sevenfold (aka A7X) was formed in 1999 in California, and its former members are M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, Synyster Gates and Johnny Christ. Their debut album “Sound The Seventh Trumpet”(1999) was recorded when the members were each just 18. Sometime later, bassist Johnny Christ joined the band and they recorded “Waking The Fallen”(2003), later that year they signed for Warner Bros Records. “City of Evil”(2005), their third record, featured the well known “Bat Country”, name that comes from the book “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” (Hunter s. Thompson). The album was considered one of the best 100 records of the year by Guitar World magazine in 2006 and became the only band to have headlined the Vans Warped Tour and Ozzfest while simultaneously hitting No. 1 on MTV's "TRL.". In 2007, the self-titled "Avenged Sevenfold" album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative, Hard and Rock charts and No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart.
The members of Avenged Sevenfold were well into work on the new album “Nightmare”. Then, in an instant, their lives changed. The Rev had died. They hadn’t just lost their drummer. They’d lost a family member. Most of the lyrics were rewritten, drummer Mike Portnoy (of the band Dream Theatre) was brought in to do the Rev’s in-theory inimitable parts, producer Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Eminem, Regina Spektor) stayed on to help everyone rise to the now-transcendent occasion. And their new masterpiece, “Nightmare”, truly became the album of their lives, the album literally of the Rev’s life and an achievement for the ages documenting the most intense, personal experience these people could imagine. “Nightmare” marks the beginning of a new era for Avenged Sevenfold, though just what will be cannot be predicted. As Christ says “It is Jimmy’s record and the fans will love it”. ”Nightmare” has debuted at number 1 in the US and other countries around the world.
"If you can see one show this year, it MUST be Avenged Sevenfold". "Nightmare", No. 1 Album Around the World!
