Just before enjoying Bon Jovi, local rock band The Rebels will warm up a packed Vicente Calderon. The Rebels consist of Alex Gallardo (guitar and vocals), Jose Mora (bass) and Juan Sebastian (drums). The band was born on September 9, 2009, as three friends, famous for playing in underground groups such as We Are Balboa, Idioterne or The Suns, decided to join together and combine their passion for rock. The Rebels are influenced by any musical style, although their preference is a primitive and frantic sound with catchy melodies and choruses. Their demo "Out Of Control" came out in 2010 and their debut album "Worldmakers", was recorded in Los Angeles, Prague and Madrid. You can see them every day in PuroCuatro.
The Rebels played many festivals in 2011, such as Festimad and Festival En Vivo and also accompanied Bon Jovi at the Barcelona Olympic Estadium and Anoeta in San Sebastian. One of the foremost artists on the PuroCuatro roster, their music has also been chosen for the World Moto GP 2012 and the X-Box game A-band.
