Brooke Fraser, the young talent from New Zealand, is finally coming to our country on a tour. After releasing three successful albums and appearing for the first time in Spain last November, we will get the chance to enjoy her live in our country following the release of ‘Flags’. On 15th April she will be playing at sala Caracol in Madrid and one day later, on 16th April, she will be at sala Bikini in Barcelona.

Fraser began singing at the age of 2, at 5 she already played the piano and at 18 she released her first album 'What To Do With Daylight', which went straight in at #1 in his country, selling 120,000 copies. She succeed again with her second record 'Albertine', which kept her on tour for over two years. 2009's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was the starting point of the new Brooke Fraser’s musical adventure. After this long tour performing 'Albertine', Brooke found inspiration again to create the tracks that would later become 'Flags'.
Her songs exude an air of idyllic dreams, pop with alternative hints, cadent melodies that tell stories of vibrant characters, full of life. Comparisons with artists as renowned as Feist or Norah Jones and references to classics such as Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Paula Cole help to grow the expectation for Wellington's prodigal daughter. After having toured with David Bowie and John Mayer, her first European dates left the audience breathless. Now, while ‘Something In The Water' spreads like wildfire across the old continent, the artist confirms new dates for 2012. An unmissable tour to discover somebody who is fast becoming the next MUST on her own merits.
Recently, Brooke obtained 5 New Zealand Music Awards: Best Pop Album, Highest Selling Album, Highest Selling Single ('Something In The Water'), International Achievement Award and the most significant award, one given by the audience, People's Choice Award. This girl goes on unstoppable and, undoubtedly, her success in Spain is already assured.
