More than 10 years after, we could enjoy Busted again. The British band dissolves in 2005 but now are back to offer a new album, Night Driver, as well as a new headline tour. This tour includes performances on Monday, March 20th at Apolo in Barcelona and on Tuesday, the 21st, at But in Madrid. Bombai, from Valencia, will be their guest band.
Tickets for both shows are already on sale through doctormusic.com and ticketmaster.es. Also in Fnac, Viajes Carrefour and Halcón Viajes, by phone on 902 15 00 25 and from other Ticketmaster outlets. Ticket price is 25 Euros (booking fees not included).
Busted said goodbye after four Numer One singles, two triple platinum albums, a total of five million records sold and a serie of sold out tours.
Now, with a decade of experience and newly discovered influences behind them, Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne reunited in the studio almost by accident and discovered they each had a fresh perspective both personally and musically. “As soon as we started making music it became very apparent that we all wanted to make exactly the same thing,” Matt says.
This is how Busted decides to meet again and start to work in Night Driver, a new record that shows their evolution as artists, with a different style but that maintains the characteristic hook that we would expect from Busted. "On What You're One" is the first single of this new album released last November and that we will discover live on March.
