British band The Greasy Slicks will visit Spain for first time this year. We will enjoy them live at Hard Rock Cafe Madrid on September 15th and on the 16th at Razzmatazz 3 in Barcelona.
Tickets are already on sale via doctormusic.com and ticketmaster.es. Also at Fnac, Viajes Carrefour and Halcón Viajes, by calling 902 15 00 25 and from other Ticketmaster outlets. The ticket price is 12 Euros (booking fees not included).
The Greasy Slicks are Jack Kendrew on guitar and vocals, drummer and vocalist Rian O'Grady, and Nathan Rasdall on bass.
The most important thing to this rock and roll three-piece is playing music that they want to play - and playing it live. Catering to the masses and jumping on fashionable trends are of little importance to The Greasy Slicks; playing real, honest rock and roll is what matters most.
The band's energy, chemistry and virtuosic musicianship, alongside their meticulous attention to dynamics, consistently captivates audiences throughout their passionate live shows, executed with precision and distinct groove.
The trio's writing process is a truly collaborative effort. There is no sole contributor in this band, but instead each member devotes individual strengths to the collective procedure. The results are recordings that manage to capture an energy and maturity far beyond their years, absorbing elements of grunge and blues as a means to establish their own style.
With the bands second EP release, Fool Me Twice completed, they now look forward to releasing their debut album supported by UK & European shows.
In the age of the throwaway band, The Greasy Slicks truly bring something different to the table.
