Following the band’s spectacular debut in 2008 with 'The Script', from which we can all remember hits such as 'The Man Who Can’t Be Moved' and 'We Cry', came the double platinum 'Science & Faith' in 2010. Now with worldwide sales of over four million, The Script launch their third album to make it a hat-trick. The stats don’t lie: more than 1.5m followers on Twitter, 3.7m on Facebook, two Brit nominations, full houses wherever they play including the Aviva Stadium de Dublin.
The trio consisting of Danny O’Donoghue (vocals and keyboards), Mark Sheenan (guitar) and Glen Power (drums) bring back the best of the essence of 80’s Brit pop. Danny’s vocals which with their wide register are accompanied by Mark’s guitar and the rhythm section in the hands of Glen take the songs through territory touching on soul, hip hop, rhythm and blues and, of course, pop.
Their spectacular debut still stands from their outset with a live feel which hasn’t been heard for some time. Hits which sound as good on disc as they do live are the essence of The Script. Now the group gives us a taster with 'Hall of Fame', their first single which is sure to be on their set list and features a collaboration will.i.am (The Black Eyed Peas).
