The Scottish band The Twilight Sad will present their songs live in Spain next April. They will play on April 13th at BeCool in Barcelona and on the 14th at Moby Dick in Madrid.
Tickets for The Twilight Sad’s shows in Barcelona and Madrid are already on sale through doctormusic.com and ticketmaster.es, also at FNAC, Viajes Carrefour and Halcón Viajes or by telephone at 902 15 00 25 and other Ticketmaster outlets. The ticket price is 14 Euros (booking fees not included).
The band was born in Glasgow in 2003 and a few years later arrived their first the full-length with Fat Cat Records, Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters. After a re-release of the album with more acoustic arrangements and a new EP with news tracks and covers, including songs of The Smiths and Joy Division, the band embarked on a tour with Mogwai while they worked on their second album, which had a darker approach. In the same way, in 2012 The Twilight Sad adopted a cold, aggressive, industrial-influenced approach with the release of No One Can Ever Know, with help from influential British producer Andrew Weatherall (Primal Scream).
In October, the band released Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave, an album that reflects the great sound basis on which they have played since their beginning and provide the foundation for a band responsible of hits such as "There's A Girl In the Corner" or "Last January".
