The greatest living reggae legend Burning Spear will perform two concerts in our country next June. They will be on June 22 at La Riviera in Madrid and on June 23 at the Kafe Antzokia in Bilbao. Two unique opportunities to see live one of the biggest reggae artists in the world.

Tickets for these shows will be available on Friday, April 11 at 10:00 am via doctormusic.com (*) and entradas.com. The price will be 32 Euros for Madrid and 30 Euros for Bilbao (VAT included, booking fees not included).

With a career spanning over six decades, Burning Spear's impact on reggae music is profound. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Burning Spear rocked the reggae world, releasing acclaimed albums such as Social Living, Hail H.I.M. and Resistance. His music evolved to incorporate elements of jazz, funk, and rock, while maintaining its solid roots reggae foundation. Some of his most famous songs are 'Marcus Garvey', 'Slavery Days' o 'African Teacher'.

Burning Spear has also won two Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album; one for Calling Rastafari and one for Jah Is Real. He has been nominated for a total of 12 Grammy Awards. He was awarded the Jamaican government's Order of Distinction for outstanding services to music in 2007.
