Baskery will open for Robbie Williams in his next shows in Spain. The Swedish band, formed by Greta Bondesson (6-string banjo, electric guitar, vocals and drums), Stella Bondesson (Double bass and vocals) and Sunniva Bondesson (Acoustic and electric guitar and vocals), arrive for the first time in our country to present their show full of rock and folk attitude.
No matter where they go in the world, people tell the Swedish sisters that they've never heard or seen anything like it, that they have a completely unique set-up and perform with what seems to be an inexhaustible energy. This high voltage trio, now based in Los Angeles, has been compared to anything from Fleetwood Mac, First Aid Kit, Black Keys to Led Zeppelin.
Baskery's sound is built on, however not limited to, what three people can do together. It is all about turning the music on its head, blending the straightforwardness of punk with the subtlety of singer/songwriting. Expect the sounds of “banjopunk”, “new folk”, “nordicana”, an energetic live show and killer sibling harmonies.
And after Baskery’s show, will follow the Robbie Williams’ hits. Countdown is ready to kick off the “Let Me Entertain You Tour”, just one month away. His two dates in Spain are already sold out, on March 25 at the Barclaycard Center in Madrid and at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on March 27.
