King Crimson
As part of a series of events for his 50th anniversary, the 2019 tour of King Crimson will include two special performances in Barcelona. It will be on July 12th and 13th at Teatre Coliseum.

Since their return to the stage back in 2014 with sell out shows around the world, both their fans and the band have been reinvented. On their 50th anniversary, it seems like the world is finally ready to welcome King Crimson, a seed which was sown by Kanye West with the sampling of ‘21st Century Schizoid Man’ on his hit 2010 song ‘Power’. More recently, the song ‘Starless’ was featured on the soundtrack and can be heard in the opening scenes of Mandy, the new Nicolas Cage film released in 2018.
The band’s intense concerts usually include material from 12 of their 13 studio albums, including many of the songs from their revolutionary album in 1969 "In The Court of the Crimson King" which was described by Pete Townshend as an “extraordinary masterpiece”. The new eight-man band play many historical tracks that Crimson have never played live before, as well as several new versions of some of their classics.
