Robbie Williams is about to arrive in Spain with his highly-anticipated new tour, announced last November, and which will see the global icon perform in cities across the UK, Ireland and Europe this summer.

The 'BRITPOP' tour opened in Edinburgh on May 31. The tour will then take in London, Manchester and Bath, before heading across Europe with dates in countries including Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and, of course, Spain, with his only concert in the country on Saturday, July 5 at the RCDE Stadium in Cornellà, Barcelona.

On this tour, none of his hits will be missing, songs that we all know like 'Let Me Entertain You', 'Feel', 'Rock DJ' or 'Angels'. He will also play songs from his upcoming album, BRITPOP, which will be released in autumn this year. You can already listen to the preview track 'Rocket', featuring legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi. BRITPOP is available to pre-order now.

Tickets for Robbie Williams' concert in Barcelona are already on sale via doctormusic.com (*), entradas.com and tickets.robbiewilliams.com.

On BRITPOP Robbie says: "I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995. It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British Music. I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album; it’s raw, there are more guitars and it’s an album that’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual. There’s some 'Brit’'in there and there’s certainly some 'pop' too - I’m immensely proud of this as a body of work and I’m excited for fans to hear this album. I also can’t wait to perform a song or two from it on my upcoming 'BRITPOP' tour, which I’m opening in the UK, naturally."

Robbie Williams holds several records for live performances … He still holds the Guinness World Record for his 2006 world tour - selling more than 1.6 million tickets in a single day. As well as the record attendance of 375,000 fans over three nights at his legendary Knebworth shows - which has never been broken in the UK. More recently, last July saw Robbie return to BST Hyde Park in London for a critically-acclaimed and sold-out headline show.

The 'BRITPOP' tour is sponsored by FELIX from Purina, the best-selling cat food across Europe.
