Duo Jatekok is coming to Spain with their new show "Rammstein on the Beach". The first of the concerts will be on April 25, 2027, at La Riviera in Madrid, followed by a show in Barcelona on April 26 at La (2) de Apolo.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 9 at 11:00 am via doctormusic.com (*) and entradas.com. The price will be 39,50 Euros (VAT and booking fees included).
Inspired by the world tours Duo Jatekok performed alongside iconic band Rammstein, and by their encounter with the minimalist writing of Monk, Adams and Glass, Adélaïde Panaget and Naïri Badal pursue an ambition they hold dear: setting seemingly opposing musical worlds in dialogue while exploring the notion of musical continuity. "We want to free ourselves from the band and their universe in order to conceive a concert built entirely on tension - a performative artistic gesture that foregrounds rhythm and repetition as an idée fixe, creating a bridge between the powerful, energising world of rock and the subtlety and hypnotic repetition of minimalist music."
A nod to Philip Glass's minimalist opera "Einstein on the Beach", Duo Jatekok, joined by David Gauchard (direction), Antoine Travert (lighting) and Clément Mirguet (sound), seeks to create a new form of hybrid concert, where music is no longer defined by genres or labels.
In 2027, Duo Jatekok will be on tour across 22 cities in Europe and the UK with their programme "Rammstein on the Beach".
