After announcing a world tour that includes US, Ireland, UK, Europe and Canada, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jake Clemons will perform two dates in Spain, to present his new album Eyes On The Horizon. The shows will take place on Monday, October 28th, at Bikini in Barcelona and on Tuesday, October 29th, at Caracol in Madrid.
Tickets for these concerts are already on sale through doctormusic.com (*) and entradas.com. Ticket price is 28 Euros (VAT included, booking fees not included).
Eyes On The Horizon, which will be released on September 6th, is produced by Jake Hull and Clemons, mixed by legendary award winning producer Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Beatles etc.,) and distributed by BFD / The Orchard. Jake Clemons claims that his new album is a lot different from anything he’s done before: “My last album reflected a very personal and inward point of view. It’s really speaking to the troubles and travails we find in the world today. I’ve never used that voice so directly through my music until now”. The album is anticipated by the track ‘We, The People’, which Clemons released on August 23rd.
Dividing his time between touring the world, performing his own music and spending the last seven years as the tenor and baritone saxophonist with Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band (stepping in for his uncle, the late Clarence Clemons), he has also graced many stages performing alongside a variety of artists including Paul McCartney, Eddie Vedder, Glen Hansard, The Roots and Roger Waters to name a few.
